I was on a particular website and I was really just browsing. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular. But I came across a good product that I want some more information on, particularly about pricing since they didn’t have any prices on their site. I was required to put in my name, email address, telephone number and basically register for more information. I did this and about 5 minutes later, a customer service representative called me up and chatted about the product that I was interested in and see whether they could answer any questions. They did a really good job in answering all of my questions and they gave me a few more website links that I could go to for some stronger information. Then, they told me how I could purchase the product.

The fact should be known that I went out afterwards and bought this particular product from the person that they put me in touch with. This was a direct result of the follow-up that this business did and the information that they gave me. So, I just wanted to make sure that you’re doing a fantastic job of follow-up in your business. If people are leaving their contact details for more information or are calling your business, make sure you follow it up as soon as you possibly can. Give them a great customer service experience and give all the relevant information. Hold their hand through the buying process. You’re going to win a lot of friends and a lot of business this way.
